How to Use:

Wiring Test:

1. Insert the tester into a standard UK 3-pole power socket

3. Read phase voltage (L-N), leakage voltage (N-E), and frequency on the LCD display
4. If a wiring fault is detected, consult a professional electrician for repair
5. Remove the tester after completing the check

RCD (GFCI) Test:

1. Insert the tester into a correctly wired 3-pole socket
2. The display will show the RCD trip current
3. Press and hold the RCD key for more than 2 seconds
4. The RCD/GFCI switch should trip (turn off) – this indicates proper function
5. If the RCD does not trip, the leakage protection switch has failed – seek professional electrician assistance

Important Note: When the socket wiring is incorrect, leakage voltage cannot be measured. Always ensure correct wiring before performing RCD tests.
